We provide backpacks for men and women upon there return to society. Typically when a person is released from prison they have no where to go and no one to turn to. Their family and friends are generally done assisting them. We provide them with just enough to keep them going until they can secure a place to stay and maybe get their feet on the ground. Statistics show that a man or women will go into and out of the prison system 3 -5 times before finally getting straight. So maybe we will have to give the same man or women 3 or 4 or 5 backpacks.
