Inspired by Gospel values, members of the St. Vincent De Paul Society serve people in our parish boundaries that need a helping hand. Members offer person-to-person involvement by visiting with those in need in their home to provide assistance in a confidential and nonjudgmental manner. Members advocate for the poor on a local, state, and national level. If you are interested in joining the society or know someone in need, call the St. Vincent De Paul phone line at 314-843-3245, extension 218 and leave a message, your call is usually returned within 24 to 48 hours. Meetings are held twice a month on Monday evenings and home visits are made through the week.
Donations to the Poor Fund and to the St. Vincent De Paul Society make this ministry possible and we thank you for your generosity. In 2016, the St. Vincent De Paul Conference at St. Catherine Laboure provided over $35,000 in assistance. Our conference participates in the Friends of the Poor Walk each September.
